Penny Barnes
Penny Barnes and her children established the Donald Barnes Memorial Scholarship in October 2015. Don Barnes was a strong supporter of NIACC students studying in the Physical Therapy Assistant program. Don spent his entire adult life in the physical therapy profession. He filled in as a clinical instructor for a NIACc instructor's maternity leave. He also mentored students in the PTA program at his own practice. Don passed away in August 2015. This endowed scholarship will assist a 2nd year PTA student.
