Colin and Carol decided to establish a permanent scholarship in their name during the “Keeping NIACC First” major gifts campaign. The Robinson’s have been very generous of their time and talents to NIACC. The scholarship is designed to benefit Charles City High School seniors choosing NIACC first.
Colin Robinson served as president of the First Citizens National Bank, in Charles City, for 30 years and is a former member of the NIACC Foundation Board of Directors. In the fall of 2003, Carol shared her musical talents during NIACC’s 85th Anniversary celebration and at the NIACC Foundation Gourmet Scholarship dinner, which the couple frequently helped to host at the NIACC Charles City Center.
NIACC is often the first choice for graduating seniors to begin their higher education journey,” explained Colin. “The College is affordable and accessible to students, making it the premier education bargain for North Iowans. Carol and I are proud of the high quality image that NIACC enjoys.”
