In late 2011, the Ron and Karen Knudtson Scholarship was established to offer a local high school student. Students from Lake Mills, Klemme or Forest City, will receive a $500.00 scholarship to attend NIACC.
Karen has served on the NIACC Board of Directors since 1989 and has seen firsthand what these scholarships mean to students. The Knudtson’s feel that scholarships play an important role in helping students receive a quality education at an affordable price.
“As we listened to students tell their stories over the years, we understood that scholarships provide opportunities for students to improve their life through education. We are proud to be part of this process by providing scholarships to students from our hometowns.”
